No one has the power to change God. You can’t change His nature, character, or attributes. Yet, He can change everything and anyone. He is the Unchangeable Changer. He remains the same yesterday, today, and forevermore (Hebrews 13:8). In Malachi 3:6, God declares concerning Himself that “I changeth not”. God doesn’t change, yet He has the power to change all things. No person, situation, or place is too hard or difficult for God. The God that can bring water out of a rock, can change the hardest of people or problems. Paul was a cruel, cold-hearted man, but when the transforming power of God hit him, God turned his heart of stone to a heart of flesh, God transformed the persecutor of the church to a great preacher for God (Galatians 1:15-16). What God did before, He can do today, He will do for you. You may have been going through a very hard, difficult situation that has brought pain and reproach to your life. God’s transforming power will locate you this month and your mourning will be turned to rejoicing in Jesus mighty name. AMEN!
God can transform prayer requests to amazing testimonies. For years, Hannah had one request. Her request was for God to bless her with a child. Times without number, she had brought this request to God, but nothing had happened. Her request was still nothing but a mere request. Her unmet request had become a source of pain, sorrow and reproach. But the day the transforming power of God located her, her request became an outstanding testimony. This season of transformation, your prayer requests will be transformed into great testimonies.
The interesting thing about God’s transforming power is that He can transform, change, override and counteract all satanic plans and agendas. Deuteronomy 23:5 talks about this. It tells us of how God turned a curse meant to hinder, frustrate and destroy the Israelites into a blessing. “However, the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam but turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you”. What an awesome thing it is to be loved by God. When God loves you, you can be rest assured that He would transform all the enemy’s plans to curse, afflict and torment you into blessings. Whatever your enemies are planning, this season they will meet with God’s transforming power. They will be taken by surprise as God uses what they meant to harm you, to propel, bless and elevate you.
We all need a transformation in every area of our lives. We all want to experience change. But what would qualify us to experience this change. In John 2:1-11, a first-of-its-kind miracle of transformation took place. God turned water to wine. What was the secret behind this miracle? Simple obedience. When the wine ran out; when a miracle of transformation was needed, Mary the mother of Jesus said “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5). Just obey God was what Mary was saying. Even if what He tells you to do doesn’t make any sense, just obey God and you will see a change. Just obey God and the impossible will become possible. Just obey God and you will be a living witness of the transforming power of God. Imagine what would have happened if the servants didn’t obey the instructions Jesus gave them.
May the Lord release on every one of us the grace to obey Him fully, even when it hurts, even when it isn’t popular, even when it doesn’t make any reasonable sense, so we can partake of the blessings and testimonies in God’s transforming power.
